Politics....Schmolitics

Ok, here it is, day 2 of my blog. Wow, I might begin to like this but we will have to wait and see. It is still early and I have plenty of time to push it aside and not get back to it for the next 2 or 3 years. Anyways, I thought about it this morning and was going to continue going through my political opinions from the 2000 election, but have completely changed my mind with all that has been going on for the last few days in the race for the next president.

Let me start off by saying that I am a die hard conservative. Also, I consider myself a Christian with very strong moral values. I guess that I fit the mold of the stereotypical Republican, with the exception of one thing, I AM NOT RICH. So for those of you who are reading this and saying to yourself, "man, another one of these rich white republicans....", I will tell you now that you probably make more money than I do.
I am going to begin with Mrs. Bill Clinton but the only problem is where do I begin. Well, let's go through what I think are the positives: 1. She has more experience with the layout of the White House than Obama. 2. If you can think of one let me know because I am all out.

Let's touch on the negatives now. 1. She would raise taxes (on everyone by the way, she considers the rich to be those who barely make it on $60,000 per year for the household). 2. She claims experience but being the wife of slick Willy does not put a plus in her column for experience. 3. Although I think health care should be affordable for everyone, I don't want to wait 3 months for surgery that should happen tomorrow. 4. What is this thing with matching 401K and a bond for every baby that you have. Do you realize that we would have a population explosion coupled with a run on big screen HD TV's? (I think you can connect the dots on that one). 5. Everyone should be able to go to college for free. Whatever happened to working hard and earning a spot? Not to mention kids who can't think for themselves and the helicopter parents that would come of that. (Ask my wife, she can tell you all about it). 6. She is an angry person. I guess if you lived with Bill for all those years you would be angry too so maybe I can't fault her for that. I think that I could go on and on but you would surely get tired of it so I will stop for now.

Right now I am not even going to touch Barak Obama and the things I think about him. That might take a couple of blogs. Let's just say that when my wife reads what I am about to write, she will probably call me and ask what I have been drinking. As it stands right now if I absolutely had to choose between Barak and Hillary, I would choose Hillary and then check myself into the nearest counseling center. Honey, I swear all I have had to drink is a little Diet Coke.

I think the saddest thing about this whole process is, politicians say that America wants this and America wants that but the way I see it is that they only talk about what they want and that is power. Read between the words and see who they really are and why they want the position that they do. Think about it.....it makes sense......that's it for now and that's "The Way I See It...."
