CHANGE!!!

November 10th huh? I think that my last post was June 1st or something like that so I may be a little out of practice so bear with me. So much has happened in the last 4 or 5 months that I don't even know where to begin. I guess I would have to start with the political world since all of my last entries had to deal with Obama and Clinton but now that that is over and we have a new president elect, what can I say. For those of you who voted for Obama, congratulations. Thank you for giving my money to those who refuse to go out and work. I am not saying that tax cuts wouldn't be great, but to give tax breaks to people who don't even pay taxes and give them free money, MY MONEY, is ridiculous. The good thing is, if everything works out, I will get a tax break for a little while or at least until I go and buy something at the store where prices are going to sky rocket because the store owner's taxes have been hiked up and he is going to pass it on to me and my family. But I will have to say that I am kind of curious to see how this is going to play out and I am glad that I voted and was genuinely happy to see such a great turn out at the poles. So kudos to all who voted and keep it up!

Now as far as everything else that has been going on in my family's life. Here is the short version because I don't like to sit for a long time and type. Put on your seat belts and have a great ride and please keep your hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times. Here we go:

1. Our home sold in June.
2. We put an offer on a new house in July.
3. Our offer was accepted and then we waited.
4. And waited.
5. And waited.
6. Then we painted.
7. And painted.
8. And painted.
9. Then we hired someone to paint.
10. Then we hired her again to paint.
11. Then our realtor painted.
12. Finally, the house passed inspection.
13. So we waited again.
14. I went to Colorado.
15. We finally moved on August 4th.
16. My company bought out another company and prepared to move.
17. And we waited.
18. And we waited.
19. Finally we began to move.
20. We finished moving on October 1st.
21. Our new building burned down on October 1st.
22. No Kidding!
23. Really, that is what happened!
24. We got a new building and work has not slowed yet!
25. Kaitlyn turned 2!
26. Lately, Kaitlyn has been showing us what it means to be 2!
27. My wife had a birthday and we got to go out for a wonderful dinner (KID FREE)!
28. Thank you Pop-Pop!
29. I'll have to say that in spite of all the hassle and busy-ness, life is good.
30. We serve an awesome God!

There is the short version. Stick around and maybe I will fill you in on what some of the details were in this list! Just remember that even when things seem to be at the bottom of the barrel, it could always be worse, and really, life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you deal with it and THAT'S THE WAY I SEE IT!

Hillary..Obama...Oil.....I should stop right there.....

OK, it has been over a month and I have no excuses for not blogging except that I have been busy. You know, life kind of takes over and you lose track of time and what is happening sometimes. Well here it goes to get you caught up on things. In the midst of running our business, getting things going for our kids outreach program, training another church on the outreach program, coaching girls softball, and spending time with my lovely wife and darling little girl, politics are out of control.

Hillary gave her concession speech but she did not give Obama her delegates. Funny isn't it that she says that she supports Obama completely but yet holds on to her delegates and only "suspends" her campaign? Just like a Clinton...."I didn't inhale"......(does it sound familiar). I don't buy Hillary's speech for one minute. I don't think she is behind Obama at all, except maybe to push him off the cliff. She is just like slick Willy, she is a Clinton through and through, in it for herself. It will be an interesting couple of months now that Obama has the nomination.

Let's turn to policies now and leave the candidates out of it. First off, why is it that with all this supposed Global Warming, the earth is actually getting cooler? Look it up. People need to wake up! Does anyone actually believe that as much as this planet has been through and as many years as it has been around, that "man" can destroy it? Do you really think that God put man on earth to destroy it? Better yet, do you think that God's creation is that fragile that we "humans" can destroy it? Hold on, I have to pause to catch my breath from laughing so hard. If you want to know why I am laughing, read the book of Job and let me know what you think.
Next, let's go to gas prices. This really burns me and I actually called my congressman this past week. Why would we not drill here and use our own resources to become energy independent. This is ludicrous that we continue to pay outrageous amounts for oil to all these other countries when they are saying that we have the biggest supply of oil in the world right off our shores and up into the Montana area. Read one of my first blogs and see what I think about drilling and that should sum it up for you. Anyways, I have one thing to say, "DRILL HERE YOU IDIOTS AND KEEP OUR MONEY IN OUR OWN COUNTRY!" ARRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Well, I hope that gets you at least somewhat caught up and up to date. I know that there is much more going on but I really don't want to get into it right now. The only thing that I would say to all those 2 or 3 people who take the time to read my thoughts on all this, call your congressman and talk some sense into them and "THAT'S THE WAY I SEE IT......."

Washington is broken.....

Obama, Hillary, McCain? Oh the humanity. When will it ever end? Is this the best that the United States of America has to offer? I may seriously have to consider moving to Canada (J/K honey). But come on, this is the best 3 candidates for president of the most powerful nation on the planet? I have to say that I do agree with Obama on one thing, "Washington is broken". Now the question is how do we fix it? I say we start with the election this year and the coming years. Let's start voting for people that have at least one moral fiber in their body. The only fiber these guys have in Washington today is the type that makes you......well you know. And even some of them don't have enough of that which would make them...yup you guessed it.....constipated. Maybe that's why they can never make a right decision. Is that fair of me to say? Let me think a minute.....yeah it is fair.
Anyways, I have heard a lot of people talk about not even voting in the fall and just staying home because they don't like any of the 3. Although I agree to a point, I would say that not voting is not the answer. Think about having Barak or Hillary in the White House with a Democratic House and Senate. ARRRRGHHHHHHHHH!!!!! (Honey, pack our bags. Canada here we come!)
I am going to write this down and I mean it from the depths of my soul......IF YOU DON'T VOTE, YOU CANNOT COMPLAIN! There I said it. Staying home is like saying that you don't care who runs our country and I can't agree with that. So I am going to say it again....STAND UP and fight for what is right and get these career politicians out of Washington and get someone in there who is truly going to make a difference.......THAT'S THE WAY I SEE IT!!!!!!

Hillary....where have you been?

Indiana primaries are here......well they are over but still it was quite an interesting and long day. I will have to say that voting today was pretty uneventful. I left the house this morning hoping to get to the polls and be met by some voter inspectors asking a bunch of questions about which party I belong to. I was fired up to give them an earful but to my suprise, no one was there. It was empty and all I got asked for was my ID (let's hear it for our Supreme Court.....Great Job).

I have to make a side note here.....I am watching good old "Billary" give a speech and I am about to lose my dinner. Slick Willy is in the background no doubtedly checking out the girls in the crowd. Hillary is saying her daily political fodder and saying how she is going to fight for the American people and how those who are paying $60-$70 at the gas pump feel invisible. Invisible? I don't feel invisible, do you? She is the one who is out of touch with reality. The other day she was up here and went with someone to fill up their tank and was actually suprised at the cost of gas. Suprised? Where have you been lady? This is getting to be old hat for those of us who have to do it every week. Do you even remember how to drive Hillary?

This whole Hillary thing has really got me perplexed right now. She just claimed a victory in Indiana and made it sound like she just obliterated Obama. I guess her math must be a little off too. 2 percentage points doesn't sound like a huge victory but I guess if your last name is Clinton, basic fundamental math and basic anything doesn't apply to you. Oh well, I say "keep going Hillary and hopefully we will only have to hear from you for another few months before you go away for good". Is that mean? Maybe I shouldn't have said it that way. Here we go....."Hillary, GO AWAY". That's better.

I will have to say that this is an interesting political season and I am enjoying the chaos that is going on. Maybe someday I will think about running for President and then those of you that read this blog can say...."I remember when.....". But until then, keep plugging away and fighting for the conservative movement and to keep the Clinton's as far away from Washington as possible. And that's "THE WAY I SEE IT..."

To Vote, or Not To Vote....you know the rest!

Wow, has it been 2 weeks already? So much has happened and I feel like I have just been going with the flow and am becoming one of those mindless American voters that just wants this thing to be over already. I sit and listen to the TV ads, read the paper, and retreat to my own world when it comes to politics. Maybe it is the insanity of the Democratic Party, maybe it is the mind numbing voice of Barak Obama or the screeching (fingers on a chalkboard) voice of Hillary Clinton that has gotten to me lately and made me lose my edge, BUT......there is always a BUT, I am back and ready to take them on again. For the 2 or 3 people that actually read my blog, you might be happy or you might be saying, "oh here we go again", but you know something, it is my blog and I will write if I want to.

So here is where I am at. It is 2 weeks before the Indiana primary and I am trying to decide if I want to go against every moral fiber in my body, and if you have ever seen me and my build you know that there is enough fiber to go around, and mark Hillary's name to keep the insanity going. The biggest problem I see with that is the lack of sleep that I might get due to my conscience screaming at me in the middle of the night, "WHY....WHY....WHY!!??!!". Speaking of the Indiana primary, I thought the ads up to this point were bad, now that Pennsylvania is over, it is going to be horrible. Hillary will be here in a few days and Barak is touring the state also. Maybe we should go and hear them talk....NOT.....!

This whole primary thing is messed up. Think about how it works. First, they go state to state and plead and beg for votes with promises that they are never going to keep and stories that aren't even true. Then when they are done there and get their share of the delegates, they leave the state, never to return until it is time for another vote. Kind of shallow isn't it? But....remember there is always a but...., it doesn't stop there. They then start tallying the popular vote and start touting that to the media.....(shut up already Hillary). Finally when all is said and done, no matter what the outcome of those things are, they have come up with this idea of "super delegates". What are super delegates you ask? These are party big wigs that have the power to say, "the little guy doesn't know what he is talking about, let's nominate this person and who cares what the American people think". What in the world is that all about? No wonder they have so many problems. If you are a democrat, you might want to think about your state of mind and may start looking into some counseling..(j/k). But really, what planet do the leaders of your party live on? Or maybe they are just from France? I guess the bigger question is, if you are a democrat, why are you still reading my blog? Don't get me wrong, I appreciate it and all, but I would have to question if you are alright in the head?

I think that I have rambled enough for this one and probably should go and weigh my decision about voting for Hillary or not. Wow...my stomach turns just writing that. Thanks for hanging in there with this one and if you are a dem, let me know your thoughts on your primary process. My thoughts...........INSANE...........and "That's the way I see it...."

I want to keep my lunch money...do you?

So here we are, close to the primary in Pennsylavania and in Indiana. And here they are, the best that the Democrats can offer.....Barak Obama and Hillary Clinton. If this is the best that they can offer, maybe they should call France and ask for some relievers or some pinch hitters or something. The way that these two talk sounds like they were beat up by every bully in the school and didn't do anything about it but run away and hide. Let's take a look at what they want to do. Hold on a minute while I get my stack of soap boxes so that all can see me when I go on this rant. Please don't hold back your opinions either. Let me know what you think about all this when you are done.

1. Retreat and surrender. Need I say more. They have already said that we lost the war. They disrespect our military to no end which, by the way, burns my butt more than anything. They talk about how our soldiers go and die for nothing and that this whole thing was a mistake. These are the people that we (not me in particular) put into office? Are these really the people we want to run our country? Do we want a commander in chief that runs away when we are attacked? Do we want someone that just wants to keep talking to the bully, hoping that maybe someday he will stop taking our lunch money? Or do we want someone who is going to say that this is enough and we are not going to stand for this? I want to keep my lunch money because it comes in handy when I am hungry if you know what I mean.

2. TAXES.....do you want to pay "more" taxes? I don't know about anybody out there, but I can't even begin to fathom paying more to the government than I already do now. People are complaining about their mortgage, gas prices, food prices, health care costs, prescription medication,....etc., and here come the Dems saying that they are going to raise taxes to the tune of billions of dollars. How does that solve anything? I want to keep more of my money and decide where I want to put it. I don't want the government to take it and put in their pockets. Do you? Do you really think that they are really that much smarter than we are as to where our money goes?

3. Energy independence is a word that they like to throw around but have no idea what it means. I think that they are confused on the word independence and really want to say "energy dependence". Why else would they keep blocking drilling here in the U.S. for oil? I think they like to buy our oil from someplace else. I think they want us to be dependent on other countries. I think it goes back to the bully analogy where they don't want to stand up for themselves, they want to keep giving their lunch money away because they are scared. "Do you smell what I am cooking here?" They are no longer giving away their lunch money, they have found a way to give OURS away instead. Let's stop the insanity people.

The only way out of this economic and political crisis is to stand up and be heard. Get out and vote. Start drilling here at home...(trust me the Earth and all it's little creatures that God created will survive). Let's kick some Democratic butt this year and make our voices heard! If we don't do it now....it may be too late.....THAT'S THE WAY I SEE IT!

Clinton lied? Who would've guessed?

Hillary, Hillary, Hillary. What are you thinking? I guess the Clinton machine hasn't changed a bit. I don't know if you heard or not, but Hillary got caught in another lie today and I don't see how she can get over this one. She has been telling this story of a lady who died in a hospital because she was refused health care or something like that. She has been retelling and retelling this story and it is one of the foundations of her argument for universal health care. The problem is that it isn't true. It came out today that the family of the woman and the hospital that she was at called and asked Hillary to stop telling the story because it was not true. Wow! Can you believe it? The Clintons lying? Go figure. Don't you think that you would get the facts right about a story that you're telling before you campaign on it? To me that would make sense but I guess when you have been in Washington for this long and have been married to slick Willy for that many years, you can't tell the difference between what is real and what is fantasy. Maybe we should ask Hillary if she ever inhaled?

Ok, now on to the Republican Party. If anyone of you that are reading this I would strongly suggest that you contact your representative and maybe write them a letter or call them with these suggestions. Where in the world have the conservative republicans gone? What an opportunity they have right now to stand up and make their voices heard. The Democratic Party is in chaos and the republicans are sitting on their hands and doing nothing to take advantage of it. I say they talk about making the Bush tax cuts permanent, talk about energy independence, and talk about the immigration problem. But it seems to me that they are just content to sit back and take no stand and hope to get elected again so that they can keep their blinders on to what is going on in our country. GET A SPINE PEOPLE!!!!! Aren't they supposed to be there to voice the people's opinions? They always say, "the American people want......", but I have never been asked and there is nobody I know who has. Isn't that interesting. Where do they get these people that make up these so called "polls"?

Oh well, in a couple of years I will be eligible to run for president of the United States and then maybe all of you can complain about me. Just kidding. But have you ever wondered what would happen if a middle class person tried running for president with no money or without any experience. It would be interesting to watch. I think that I could get behind someone like that, maybe.

I guess it couldn't be much worse than the candidates that we have now..huh? Well, that's "THE WAY I SEE IT....."
