November 10th huh? I think that my last post was June 1st or something like that so I may be a little out of practice so bear with me. So much has happened in the last 4 or 5 months that I don't even know where to begin. I guess I would have to start with the political world since all of my last entries had to deal with Obama and Clinton but now that that is over and we have a new president elect, what can I say. For those of you who voted for Obama, congratulations. Thank you for giving my money to those who refuse to go out and work. I am not saying that tax cuts wouldn't be great, but to give tax breaks to people who don't even pay taxes and give them free money, MY MONEY, is ridiculous. The good thing is, if everything works out, I will get a tax break for a little while or at least until I go and buy something at the store where prices are going to sky rocket because the store owner's taxes have been hiked up and he is going to pass it on to me and my family. But I will have to say that I am kind of curious to see how this is going to play out and I am glad that I voted and was genuinely happy to see such a great turn out at the poles. So kudos to all who voted and keep it up!
Now as far as everything else that has been going on in my family's life. Here is the short version because I don't like to sit for a long time and type. Put on your seat belts and have a great ride and please keep your hands and feet inside the vehicle at all times. Here we go:
1. Our home sold in June.
2. We put an offer on a new house in July.
3. Our offer was accepted and then we waited.
4. And waited.
5. And waited.
6. Then we painted.
7. And painted.
8. And painted.
9. Then we hired someone to paint.
10. Then we hired her again to paint.
11. Then our realtor painted.
12. Finally, the house passed inspection.
13. So we waited again.
14. I went to Colorado.
15. We finally moved on August 4th.
16. My company bought out another company and prepared to move.
17. And we waited.
18. And we waited.
19. Finally we began to move.
20. We finished moving on October 1st.
21. Our new building burned down on October 1st.
22. No Kidding!
23. Really, that is what happened!
24. We got a new building and work has not slowed yet!
25. Kaitlyn turned 2!
26. Lately, Kaitlyn has been showing us what it means to be 2!
27. My wife had a birthday and we got to go out for a wonderful dinner (KID FREE)!
28. Thank you Pop-Pop!
29. I'll have to say that in spite of all the hassle and busy-ness, life is good.
30. We serve an awesome God!
There is the short version. Stick around and maybe I will fill you in on what some of the details were in this list! Just remember that even when things seem to be at the bottom of the barrel, it could always be worse, and really, life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you deal with it and THAT'S THE WAY I SEE IT!
